For years, I felt like the only options were two extremes — all or nothing, bold or muted, completely insane or utterly boring. Before I got sober, I chose the life that was loud and chaotic but fueled by things that left me empty and anxious constantly. After years of struggling with addiction, I finally got sober at 21. When I did, I realized I wasn’t willing to give up fun, fashion, late nights, glitter, dressing up, or the parts of myself that loved feeling alive. I wanted to keep all of it, but experience it fully present and without destroying myself in the process.

It’s also for the fashion girlies who know that chic doesn’t have to be black, white, and beige.
